Financial Plan Consultation

A meeting with a package for the public will typically be presented in March or April annually.

  • Council and staff typically begin budget deliberations in September at Committee of the Whole.
  • Fees and Charges are typically reviewed and set annually by December each calendar year.
  • Non-Profit partners, neighbourhood or community petitions are best received between the months of September and December if action in the subsequent financial year is desired.
  • Items brought forward by stakeholders for Council consideration after the month of February will typically be deferred for consideration to the subsequent tax year.
  • Please mark your correspondence "Budget/ Financial Plan Input" and indicate if you wish to be a Delegation to a meeting of COW or Council.
  • REGIONAL DISTRICT financial plans are set by March annually - if you are a municipal resident with input concerning Regional District services, please visit this link.
